Eligibility Criteria for Nominees:
• Full-time (at least 50% of appointment in the College of Education)
  as an academic advisor, instructor, assistant, associate, or full
  professor.
• At least two years of advising experience in the College of
  Education at K-State prior to nomination.
• Demonstrated a significant commitment to advising.
  Examples of ways this commitment may be demonstrated:
  → excels in advising work with students
  → excels in working with students in student organizations
  → recognizes students as individuals and emphasizes the
      importance of their goals
  → demonstrates a caring attitude toward students
  → fosters and encourages student growth
  → challenges students to excel
  → shows sensitivity to cultural, racial, and ethnic diversity
  → accessible to students
  → assists students in monitoring and evaluating their
      educational/professional progress
  → develops mentoring relationships
• Has not received this award in the last five years.

Eligibility Criteria for Nominees:
• Full-time, tenure or tenure-track, graduate faculty status.
• At least two years of teaching in the College of Education at
  K-State prior to nomination.
• Teaching responsibilities assigned at least half at the graduate level,
  including coursework and/or field work.
• Has not received this award in the last five years.
